Healthy Chinese tea is a huge provider of polyphenols, which are antioxidants . These have similar wellness properties to vitamin C. Healthy tea contain numerous main polyphenols, while the most found chemical is epigallocatechin gallate, referred to as EGCG. This is the most active component of green tea.
Chinese tea also contains caffeine, a major stimulant, although in much lesser quantities than can be found in other teas or within coffee.
