A common question regarding Chinese green tea is about whether it can let you lose fat. basically yes. Green tea have anti-oxidants and caffeine in which can allow a small increase in metabolism. This is known as thermogenesis, it is the process of heat creation in living things. Coffee does not provide this immense increase however, despite containing a significantly higher amount of caffeine than Chinese tea. Studies have shown that tea produces slightly larger boost to the metabolism than just the caffeine in it alone can account for. Tea has a number of health benefits that coffee is unable to.
