An often asked question about Jasmine tea is about if it allows you to lose fat. The short answer is yes. Tea contain caffeine which can allow a surge in metabolism. This is called thermogenesis, it is the act of heat creation in living things. Coffee does not provide this dramatic uplift however, despite having a much higher amount of caffeine than tea. Studies have shown that tea produces slightly greater boost to the metabolism than just the caffeine in it on it's own can account for. Tea allows for a number of health benefits that coffee does not.
