An often asked question in relation to Chinese green tea is about if it can help you to lose weight. is yes. Certain blends of herbal tea have caffeine in which does allow a surge in metabolism. This is called thermogenesis, it is the process of heat creation in living things. Coffee does not provide this large surge however, despite containing a significantly higher amount of caffeine than Chinese tea. Studies have shown that Jasmine tea produces slightly higher metabolic boost than just the caffeine in it on it's own can account for. Chinese tea allows for a vast range of health benefits that coffee does not.
